Seen the video about the worst free throw ever? Turns out, there is more than one...  What's happened to our nation's youth's ability to shoot a simple free throw???  My personal opinion? The skill of free throw shooting went down DRAMATICALLY when kids stopped playing "21" growing up!

Florida State vs Kentucky In Southern Belles Recruiting WAR for Top Recruit!!

Andrew Wiggins is 17 years old. Andrew Wiggins is the top college basketball recruit in the nation.  Evidently Florida State and Kentucky are on the short list. Evidently, Florida State is pulling out all the stops to land Wiggins, and in the process, perhaps taunt Kentucky a little bit...

OK....I know Kentucky has Ashley Judd, but let's face it, she's probably older than his mother. I don't know if he's made his official visit to Kentucky yet, but evidence so far indicates Calipari and his "associates" have their work cut out for them....

The Courtship of Charlie Strong, via Twitter!

Twitter is great for breaking and unfiltered news, which of course, means sometimes, news that turns out to be WRONG! That's especially the case with these football coach searches, where scores of sports reporters try to out scoop each other and show how much more "connected" they are than others. Add in the fans, who via twitter can also report their "scoops" and we have an internet free for all!

Case in point, the University of Tennessee Athletic Director Dave Hart's courtship of Louisville football coach Charlie Strong!  We begin out saga after ESPN's Jon Gruden turned Tennessee down, and they were supposedly down to Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy and Louisville's Charlie Strong.  Gundy had already flirted with Arkansas, and then with Tennessee, probably getting a nice raise for his troubles from his employer, Oklahoma State!

Then, it was time to "follow the planes"....

 

 Then the "scoop" that Strong is GONE to Tennessee!
