If you're in TV News, you haven't earned your stripes until you've been thrown out of at least a half dozen places. This time for this Phoenix news crew it was the Arizona Capitol. Seems a "security" official at the Capitol decided to implement new security policies, but hadn't informed the reporter. When asked for the written policy, the reporter was informed it was unwritten. Once the security person realizes the news crew is videotaping, he really doesn't like it, saying if they used the video, it "would not be so great," and accused the news crew of engaging in hostility, by asking him questions. What? This is why freedom of the press is important, whether you like all the stories, or not.
It's clearly a move by some in the Arizona State Legislature to control the press by intimidation.
