According to published reports, she isn't ruling it out. The former Kentuckian, now living in Tennessee, would have to re-establish a residence in the Bluegrass State before she could challenge Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell in his bid for reelection in 2014.
Right now, McConnell has no Democratic challenger and Judd has long been active with the Tennessee Democratic party. McConnell campaign manager Jesse Benton said McConnell and his wife are big fans of Judd's movies and that they appreciate her efforts to bring young people into the political process.
Wonder if McConnell would get equal time for all those cutaways of Ashley at Kentucky Wildcats' games?
