The Best Of The Fire Gene Chizik Tweets During The Iron Bowl

There were a lot of Auburn Football fans who wanted Head Coach Gene Chizik fired BEFORE the Iron Bowl rivalry game with Alabama.  There were a LOT more after Alabama whipped Auburn 49-0 for the second worst margin of victory ever in the series, and Auburn was never even competitive.  With that in mind, twitter went wild, and here's the best of it!

Bama Family Reax to Stanford's Win Over Oregon

Lord knows, I'm not one to promote Southern stereotypes, but the reaction of this Bama family to Stanford's upset win over Oregon is priceless.  Of course, the upset, coupled with Baylor's upset of Kansas State put Alabama right back in the hunt for the national championship.

Be sure to watch the entire video to get the full effect!

Station Airs Graphic of Petraeus Book With Title Changed to Vulgar Phrase

The name of the Petraeus biography is "All In," but during last night's 5PM newscast on Denver station KMGH, a graphic of the book cover had obviously been photoshopped.  With "other woman" and author Paula Broadwell pictured beside it, the title had been altered to "All Up In My Snatch."
How could this happen? Easy!  More than likely, someone in the graphics department decided to have a little fun, and whoops, the next thing you know, the wrong graphic gets on the air.  It happens.

No comment from KMGH, on what happened, or if someone's head rolled over this for violating a sacred rule of broadcasting: Never make any graphic or say anything near a microphone that you don't want on the air!  Somehow, they always manage to find their way there....

Elmo Voice Kevin Clash leaves 'Sesame Street,' Denies Sex With Boy

The voice of Elmo, Kevin Clash, has left Sesame Street, while strongly denying allegations he had sex with an underage boy.

According to TMZ,Sesame Workshop lawyers recently met with a 23-year-old man who claims he and Clash began a sexual relationship 7 years ago ... when he was 16 and Clash was 45.

The article states the victim has hired the law firm, Andreozzi and Associates,  the firm that represented one of the victims in the Jerry Sandusky child rape case.

TMZ quotes Clash as not denying the relationship, only that it began after the accuser was of legal age, "I had a relationship with [the accuser].  It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to make it into something it was not."  Clash calls the accusations false and defamatory.

Sesame Street says the character of Elmo will continue to be featured on the popular children's show.

Ashley Judd to Challenge Mitch McConnell for Senate Seat?

According to published reports, she isn't ruling it out.  The former Kentuckian, now living in Tennessee, would have to re-establish a residence in the Bluegrass State before she could challenge Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell in his bid for reelection in 2014.

Right now, McConnell has no Democratic challenger and Judd has long been active with the Tennessee Democratic party.  McConnell campaign manager Jesse Benton said McConnell and his wife are big fans of Judd's movies and that they appreciate her efforts to bring young people into the political process.

Wonder if McConnell would get equal time for all those cutaways of Ashley at Kentucky Wildcats' games?

Voting Machines Changing Romney Votes to Obama?

Election officials in at least 3 states are looking into reports that voting machines used in early voting could be changing votes for Mitt Romney into votes for President Obama.  According to the Marion Star, Voter "Joan Stevens was one of several early voters at the polls on Monday. But when Stevens tried to cast her ballot for president, she noticed a problem.  Upon selecting “Mitt Romney” on the electronic touch screen, Barack Obama’s name lit up.  It took Stevens three tries before her selection was accurately recorded."  The article states the Director of Elections said she contacted the vendor and had them inspect the device and recalibrate it, adding  those still skeptical about using the electronic stations have the option of filling out a paper ballot, and even voting from home and mailing via absentee ballot.

In Topeka, Kansas, another voter reported her husband had difficulty in casting an early vote for Mitt Romney, as the "touch field" for Obama seemed larger than the field for Romney.  The same thing was reported in North Carolina last week.  Officials there said it was not a "conspiracy," and the machines merely needed to be re-calibrated.
